So, overnight it seems, Burley has jumped into Fall full swing. Yes, I know the calendar does not show this event to be for a few more weeks, but many factors indicate that at least in Burley, Idaho, Fall is upon us. The evidence is as follows:

1. The weather has moved to the jacket-required category.
2. All Burley residents are constantly commenting on high school football.
3. Residents no longer spend every free moment sitting around at the river banks.
4. My neighbors are preparing their Halloween costumes and mulching their lawns for the winter.
5. Events such as the parade pictured above are no longer drawing hordes of Burlyites into the public.
6. The calves in my backyard are now full-blown cows.
