Today we went down to Almo, Idaho to check out the City of Rocks National Preserve.
We drove up to Circle Creek Overlook first. Aubrey liked the trail and took off walking for quite some time.
Next we hiked from campsite 37 to Window Arch. Here Mom and I are standing in the arch.
This picture was taken on the Creekside Towers hiking trail by Bath Rock. Aubrey loved riding along in the backpack, and Richard was very good to avoid low-hanging branches that may snag her head and face.On the way home, we stopped in Albion at Campus Grove. They had newly refurbished the college's old dorm room and were having an art festival. We stopped to check out the building and the art and to grab a bite to eat.
This is Aubrey on the ride home. Boy, was she wasted. I thought it classic that she fell asleep with the sippy in her mouth.

Yeah for new posts! I love all the cool active things you guys do :) Inspires me to check out more local things. (Right now the thought of hiking makes me wince, but in a few months... :) Glad Mom could come, too.
That is such a funny picture of Aubrey sleeping.
