Cassia County Fair Week--The Fair

Today Aubrey, Mom and I went to the fair. Aubrey was rambunctious in the 4H pavilion, was wary about the big pigs, and was spellbound by the cows. She loved seeing the cows paraded from their stalls to the showing arena. What an experience.

After eating a delicious funnel cake, we all hopped aboard this trailer shuttle pulled by a John Deere tractor to return to our car. Classic.

(Side note: After returning to our car in the Smith's parking lot, I dimwittedly left my purse atop my Civic and drove off. In search of said purse, I first returned to the nice old farmer man who carted us on his John Deere shuttle. He was a very cute old man who escorted me to the lost and found calling me "ma'am" multiple time along the way. When we didn't find the purse there, he assured me he would contact me if he found it. I was happy someone at Smith's found my purse and turned it in to customer service instead of stealing my identity. Phew. That was a close one. Thank heavens for good ol' Burley-ites.)
