Sunday musings

Our yard looks like carpet.

After a Saturday of toil to get it ready for winter, it looks great. I am enjoying it through my windows today.

The weather was perfect today for (I fear) the last time this season. Our little family enjoyed a walk on the Snake River. We skipped rocks, saw a praying mantis, watched some pastured horses. Really, it was perfect.

After preparing us a delicious lunch, Richard stepped on this with his stocking foot:

It stuck there until he pried it out. And he didn't even let loose a single expletive.

It's a holy Sabbath after all.

Your yard looks great! I miss "real grass," as everything here is a big fat broad-leaf version that grows in clumps...Alas :) Yeah for the walk, and hope Richard's foot has recovered :)

Those Monopoly pieces get you every time.

Your grass is resplendent. I laughed that you're enjoying it from the window because it reminded me of when I vacuum the living room and won't let anyone walk on it for at least 24 hours. Haha.

Funny, Lynz! I do that after washing the bath mats for the bathrooms. I avoid stepping on them for a day or two so they stay fluffy. Silly, really.
