Today I went to the fabulous Dr. Jeppson for my monthly appointment. As I drove to said appointment, it was snowing in good ol' Idaho fashion. Richard met me there as we were anticipating hearing Beta's heartbeat. (Aside: at last month's appointment I was just shy of 11 weeks, and we heard nothing. Beta was playing hide and seek. I was quite disappointed.)
We heard the heartbeat clearly and strong at about 150-153 bpm. We scheduled the Level III ultrasound (aka normally-at-20-week ultrasound) for just under three weeks from now, as we need to fit it in before the change in insurance. I'm hoping Beta is not hiding from us on that day as well.

Yeah for you and Beta :) Heartbeats are so comforting. Oh, and drink a sprite about a half hour before the appointment--aka, no hiding :)
