Friday
- 'Twas our 5th anniversary.
- Our car was still in the shop, so Aubrey and I walked to the doctor to get an antibiotic for my ear/sinus infection. We ate at a pizza buffet next to the doctor afterward where Aubrey's food was free. This was awesome because that girl can pack it away.
- Richard and I went out to eat at an amazing restaurant that evening. Mmm. Steak, fresh fish, zucchini, tart raspberry lemonade, and sushi. Delicious.
- We swam at the pool in the morning before nap. It was delightful.
- Richard and I went to Summerfest in the evening. While we were waiting in line to buy tickets, a nice middle-aged woman gave us free tickets. Sweet.
- It was quite the festival. We saw some not-so-great bands, and then we soaked up Counting Crows for hours.
- We were all still under the weather, but forged our way to church. I was called into the Relief Society presidency.
- Multiple naps were taken during the afternoon.
- We watched fireworks at the park around the corner, and we are still itching the mosquito bites received.
- Richard had the day off. We went to the Racine parade in the morning. It was a good little outing.
- Richard got uber tan at the swimming pool. No more farmer tan for him.
