Yesterday at the grocery store, a man asked Aubrey, "Why aren't you in school?"
I said to Aubrey, "Tell the man how old you are." She said, "I'm 3!" He looked at me in shock for a moment, and then said, "She is sure smart." Very PC on his part.
Will I be entertaining these side comments from random, albeit-well-meaning strangers for TWO WHOLE YEARS, at which time Aubrey will start kindergarten? It appears so.
PC = politically correct, not personal computer, in case you were confused.

I get that with Avery, too. (Though she only has a year to wait.) Good for you to be a mom--which is way more important than even a teacher--until they are ready :) I should share notes on the "momschool" activities Avery and I want to do until K-garten.
