Last week, Aubrey felt hot so I took her temperature. It came out to 104.2. I, of course, panicked. Needless to say, baby Tylenol prevented the need for a hospital visit. Aubrey was a trooper. Because she was sitting really still, I asked her intermittently, "Are you OK?" She just nodded and said, "Yeah" each time. What a cutie. Then, two days later, I myself came down with a supra-100-degree temperature for two days. Ick. I cannot remember the last time I felt so sick. The first day I couldn't stop shivering and took a hot-hot bath every two hours or so. The next day, I was so hot I could barely stand it. The above is a pic of Aubrey and I taking a Sunday nap.
The plus, though, of all of the sickness at our house is that I was sick over the weekend and that my husband is a dear. Richard plays the role of Super Dad very well. He and Aubrey grew so close over the weekend. What a blessing. They are now so close that Aubrey says, "I want Daddy" many times during the day. She has quickly learned that dad is at "work" but that he will be home for "lunch." I love that she loves her daddy so much.

I'm sorry to hear you've been sick! It's the pits. All sorts of fun stuff has been going around here also.
Blech for being sick :( But hey, you even look pretty while sick on the couch :) When did your hair get so long? Hope you feel better!
It's funny how such hard times end up with blessings like a great time spent with daddy. I sure miss you guys, but love the stories and updates.
