We are taking Ben in to get his passport on Saturday, so I impromptu snapped some shots of him on an ugly cream sheet. Granted, it is not the best photo depiction of the cherub, but since his adorable little mug has not graced this blog since, well, birth, I thought I would post it up anyway.
Also, here is a little update on the boy. He is now 5 months old, and he is holding strong in the 99th percentile for height, 50th for weight. (In other words, he is consistently wearing 9-12 month clothing that is too wide for the most part.) He rolls, drools, prop-sits and babbles/squeals like a pro. As he has an affinity for his right side, he has rubbed all the hair off of that side of his ever-growing noggin. He is the happiest baby, and I feel more than a little guilty-and-simultaneously-possessive about it. His eyes have turned from newborn navy to flecked blue-green. He is a peach, and we love 'im.

Oh my goodness, he's a little Richard. Seriously, (though I can see the Holly), he looks so much like Richard. I was just thinking today that I haven't seen him since birth...now I'll know what he looks like when you visit :) More, more! Love him/you/y'all.

Don't you love how you carry this child for 9 months, nurse this child, care for this child, and your husband gets all the credit because your baby looks like him!? Well, that's how I feel...anyway. HA! He's adorable!
