On a routine afternoon errand trip, this is what the children and I encountered at the gas station. Now how am I supposed to use this pump, I ask? We opted to leave the gas station and to try again another day. (I was secretly hoping Richard would be the next person to drive the Civic...) Then we continued on to the grocery store.
Aubrey and I laughed about this frozen pump through the rest of our errands. We were so amused, in fact, that we circled back to the station on the way home to take a picture for the record. Let it be recorded: Filling up with gas in Milwaukee's January is not a task for the faint of heart.
