This year at Bastille Days, it was quite cloudy out. We decided to attend the festivities anyway. By the time we pulled up to Cathedral Square, it was pouring. Festival-goers were exiting the park in droves. However, since we had made the effort to get there, we were going to persevere.
At one booth, Aubrey made a feather bracelet. At another, she constructed a house out of wood blocks and glue. All the while, we ducked (and crowded) into whatever shelter we could find to no avail. We were all drenched.
Thirty minutes into the adventure, we were beat by the downpour, but not before we got in a few good punches.
