Sometimes a babysitter is not to be found, even when two adults search high and low for an entire week. However, it is still possible to put two children down to sleep early and have date night in. While I am not one to cook elaborate dinners nightly, it is fun to craft culinary masterpieces with my honey.
Disclaimers: Lest anyone be alarmed, the beverage of choice is delicious Welch's sparkling grape juice. Also, the potatoes are from Idaho, thankfully. Thirdly, the chicken is not trussed because, well, it is an extra step and Mark Bittman told me it was unnecessary. And I wholeheartedly trust the man. He's a genius.
