House work

Conversation last week:

Richard: It is weird that our new place has 200 more square feet than our last place. It doesn't feel that much bigger.

Me: (Honestly, I don't remember what I said. Obviously I was listening, though. Most likely I acknowledged what he said in my mind and then didn't respond. Yes, I do this frequently.)

Well today I vacuumed, swept and mopped all the floors in our new place, and I'm here to tell you, it does feel that much bigger. If our next move is to a larger abode again, I may have to hire a maid. Or teach Aubrey to more efficiently use a dust pan.
